This module reinforces my thinking that we need to think strategically when planning a unit for learning. When beginning with the essesntial question, or "big idea' it is helpful to then break it down into the smaller units or components, always keeping the bigger question in the forefront.
While planning a lesson, the CFQ's have made think of using more higher order thinking questions. I have also learned that I am not very computer savy:(
This was a very interesting module. It helped me start from the big picture and work my way down as opposed to starting with the little question and trying to find the big picture.
This module reinforces my thinking that a unit is very complex comprising of many important components, and if left without may not appropriately reach every learner and/or acheive your objective.

Made me more aware of what type of questions I ask my children and I will try to ask more questions to get them to higher order thinking

When planning a unit or even a lesson, I can use these questions to guide a discussion to help students practice their higher order thinking skills.
I will be able to visually enhance my children's learning experience. I will be able to bring 21st Century skills to my students.
